looking for a bit of advice
I've never played FF I, II, or III. Since there are so many versions of them out there nowadays, I was wondering if anyone could recommend which platform/version is the best of them to play?
My girlfriend has a Nintendo DS, so I was thinking that might be the route to go unless the other versions offer something better.

There's no DS version for I and II. The only way you can play III legally is on a DS. For I and II either go with Origins for Playstation, Dawn of Souls for the Gameboy Advance, or FF Anniversary for the PSP. The PSP versions have updated graphics if you care.
Edit; I'm stupid. I also forgot about the NES version of the origial which is how you should play it if you're the hardest of the hardcore FF fans. Dawn of Souls also have additional dungeons.

So for I and II, it doesn't matter a whole lot, other than bonus dungeons (which I don't care about)?
