What do you think is the psychology behind people being d-bags over the internet? Problems at school, self-esteem, etc?
I personally think it deals with being overly angry and self-esteem.

I'm nicer on the internet than I am in real life. I guess I'm weird. =0
its cause theres barely any repercussions
swear and mouth off at someone in the street and youl get a smack in the face
unless your dumb enough to do that then give out your adress your pretty safe online
i think...
Me too. Everyone calls me sweetheart irl, on the internet I'm called asshole.

I'm pretty nice online. At least I'm nicer than I am in real life.
Because on the internet you aren't a ronery neckbeard who lives alone with his anime and Tool discography, you are a ALPHA MALE PSEUDO-INTELLECTUAL WHO REJECTS AUTHORITY, HATES YOUR FAVOURITE BAND, AND GETS ALL DA GURLS!
It all goes back to Large Marge from Pee-wee's Big Adventure. She scarred everyone forever and turned us all into mean bastards.
BECAUSE I AM ANGRY AND IF I PUNCH YOU WITH MY E-FIST NO ONE WILL DO ANYTHING TO ME IRL
the only difference between me online and me irl is online I'm more confident and less afraid to talk to people.
:D
