Chocolate Fountain
Have you ever experienced the joy of one before? What sort of things have you put in them?

Marshmallows and bananas in a chocolate fountain is pure bliss. That's one of the things I'll require at my wedding one day. I hate most fancy foods, so I can't imagine I'll go crazy on that, but the chocolate fountain must be there!

everytime I've had one of these it's always ended up disappointing me :( I think it' sbecaue the chocolate dries really fast and then is just kinda crusty.
-
I've never experienced the glory that is a white chocolate fountain, and I do not like real chocolate. Pooey.

We've had one at in my household for a few years. It's always out on birthdays and stuff. Yum yum yum. ^You have to put oil in it so it flows better and isn't all dry and gross. Fat fat fat!
Strawberries and bananas are good in it, as are marshmallows, pretzel sticks, and little cookies. :D Pineapples fall off toothpicks too easily. :O
Pour melted chocolate into ice-cold (dark) soda. It makes a lot of weeeeeeird frothy mousse stuff fizz up.

Shlup's a chocolate racist. :(

They have one sometimes at temple :D
It is always delicious.
I love dipping pound cake cubes into it :p

So I take it that dunking my head in there wouldn't be an option either?
-
It is my dream to have a swimming pool of chocolate or maybe even that river from willy wonkas factory.
-
Double-check it's chocolate before you take a dive.
-
Never had one, don't really want one.

You can make one really easily. Get a nice sized pot, and set it up over a few candles. Melt your chocolate of choice in the pot. Dip and enjoy. Just don't use too strong a flame and if possible stir the chocolate every once in a while to prevent burning. Use dark chocolate, it melts a lot better than milk.
The best tings to dip are
Marshmallows
Graham Crackers
Cakes (Cut the cake into small cubes and dip those)
Cookies
Most Fruit (pretty much everything that's not a tomato)
Pretzels (salted.)
