XIII's build up system

Well, now that we have quite a bit of footage of the combat system, all I have to say is wow. For awhile it was hard to get excited for the game since most of the previews were just of the cutscences, sure the animations is fantastic, the enviroments are neat creative, but I wanted more in terms of game play. Now that we got gameplay footage I can say I'm pretty darn excited, the battle system looks fun, and certainly fast and exciting.

But what about the character development system, has there been any word on how thats going work. Just like the combat and exploration are both big parts of an RPG so is building up your character(s), I'm just wondering if theres anything out there about how you'll do it in this game or what system they have developed for leveling and build up your characters.
