Been geeking out recently buying up lots of random stuff and came across some figures at Fobidden Planet (which were rather expensive). Found these on ebay but do you think it worth it considering they don’t have boxes :( does it really matter? I would prob take them out of the box anyway to display them

no cid? no freya? pass. those are my favourite characters. id personally try pick these up though if i had the money since im guessing they will probably get bumped up quite abit. if you were to display them then i wouldnt bother much with boxes since your not planning on selling them again?

I never understood people who collect toys. My aunt has a room full of barbies and it always burned me up that we couldn't play with them because they were so beautiful. And my dad would always have this junk he'd say would be "a collector's item some day", yeah that's what they said about the beanie babies.

The only figure I've ever had a slight urge to buy is the 1/6th Lulu. But a) they keep refusing to bring out the Trading Arts version, which only seems to be available as bootleg imitation and b) it's got a simpering little sweet smile, and she is MEAN.
Mean is good. Cute is bad.

I only have a Rinoa figure and that's because it was cheap how much does that funny money sign translate into $?
I actually have a few figu... Oh who am I kidding they are toys. I have the Squall, Rinoa, Seifer and Laguna toys, as well as the Vivi Zidane figures from the IX collection and I also have a plushie of a moogle and Vivi :love:
I also have the wicked God form Kefka figurine. :cool:
Ive not long started collecting these, I currently have Tidus and Yuna (need auron to complete set), Cloud Sehiroth and vincent, quite a big Yuna (ff x-2) in gunner dresphere and my ff8 zell, rinoa, seifer and laguna. Also have Shiva and Heretic Shiva.
Looking to get some more when im in the states next month.
I have some mini FF Tactics and mini FFIII figures. They're pretty awesome.

Bought some FF figurines (Squall and Cloud) from some pre-owned shops from beloved Japan! Been in my display cabinet for a few years now and never regretted it. :bigsmile:
PS: I sealed them up in my display cabinet as a precautionary measure in case they are cursed since they are no virgin. :(
I have most of the FFVII figures that came out the same time as the game. Look just like the character art, but very little articulation. Went nuts with FFVIII though, got all the characters, monsters, Guardian Forces (including crystal variants that come with parts to the Ragnarok). My highlights are Edea and Ultima Weapon, which comes with a sword that looks like a dead ringer for Cloud’s UW sword, which I would pose him with if I ever unbox the thing. After that FFIX character two packs, FFX Anima and FFX-2 Yojimbo.
