To all you naysayers who believe that final fantasy VII is the best final fantasy of all time, i have one question for you...
Has final fantasy VII ever had a commercial made for it??!

those are commercials about the game itself, but the one that i posted is a corporate sponsor (coca-cola) that paid square-enix so they could use their characters for a commercial, and i think that is amazing!

Oh, and for the record, I like this mentality of "Let's not judge games on their own merits, but rather the marketing around them." Nice.

I prefer FFVII to both FFVIII and IX. But that's just my opinion.

Ok, so instead of having an unstructured debate between newbies about Coke commercials, lets get the facts together:
FFIX doesnt have:
A whiney emo tit of a main character who has 0 personailty
A woman who has more breasts than use
An increadibly annoying storyline which I find causes replayability to be hindered by. (Due to having to sit through the whole 'Clouds lifestream past' bit)
Materia
FFIX has:
Decent sidequests
Ozma
Quina
A better storyline
Epicness.
Albiet, the trance system and cardgame lets IX down a little, but it is still one of the best Final Fantasys. FFVII fanboys: stfu

why are so many people excited about being able to download the game on the PSN network ?
Of course I would whine if people were trying to kill me constantly and I had constant encounters with monsters trying to eat me and I found out I had to try to save the world.

The only thing comparable would be vets who have served in wars and the high amount of stress related problems those vets face including suicidal trendencies and antisocial behavior.
