A link for anyone interested: gPotato Presents ALLODS ONLINE - A Completely Free To Play Online Game!
To me it looks like a bad game.
Its very pretty. But I doubt my laptop would handle it very well
I signed up for the closed beta. If I get accepted I am more than interested in starting an EoFF exclusive guild.
That said, I can't promise I will play this game non-stop like every good MMORPG player should, so maybe an EoFF guild isn't the best idea.
"From the publishers of Flyff."
I'll pass.
Publisher =//= developer
I was merely clarifying, not trying to start a debate :}
:(
Come on, Flyff wasn't terrible.
These guys published Rappelz, and that was pretty good.
Besides, this is from the Europen branch, not the Asian one. :p
EDIT: I have yet to receive and sort of E-Mail regarding my acception or not. I assume it's because I accidently signed up as Europen and gave an AOL E-Mail address. Oh, and nik, I'm very willing to enter your guild.
If Flyff is really a deciding factor, maybe it should be looked into as to whether the game was made first and then pitched to them to publish, or if they requested the developers to make the game (I've never even heard of the game, honestly)
To me FlyFF isn't a deciding factor. I have played quite a few MMO's and this just doesn't tickle my fancies, that's all. I am just trying to be difficult (isn't that what this forum is about?).
:D
It does appear the be the norm xD
I got accepted for the beta. It's not half bad at all. I like the visual style and it isn't too formulaic. I like how the Gibberling race has three "characters" in one and how each class is slightly different for each race. Very refreshing.
The combat system is almost turn-based as your attack has a recharge time, which is nice as well. Hit me up, I'm an Elven Mage named Laios.
