Does anyone like Mardi Gras? The festivities, the music, the food, the decorations...

I do like breasts and alcohol!

I think I'm going to have to settle for making gumbo myself tonight. I have half a mix left, or maybe some frozen! Maybe give lola some of my mardi gras beads (I brought them from home a while back to decorate)

My really cajun professor was wearing a couple of strings of beads today though, i noticed.

well, I couldn't find anything that sounded fun tonight that would be cheap and still involve gumbo, so I cooked a pot of luzianne gumbo mix, threw in some shrimp, drank a glass of red wine, ate a wedge of cheese all while topless and wearing aforementioned décor.

It's awesome living close to one of the only places that does Mardi Gras traditionally.

Had some chicken jambalaya for lunch...
