Do you ever start playing a game, get midway or so through, break from it for like a month, then go back to it and can't remember what the heck had happened up to that point?

I usually just start over at that point.
I quit playing Dragon Age back in December. I was about halfway through maybe. Its kinda how I play long games for some reason
Happened to me in Tales of Symphonia. Other than that it doesn't happen terribly often, I either remember or the game has some sort of quest log/journal/whatever to remind me.
I don't really procrastinate with gaming. I usually see one game to the end before I start another.
And even when it does happen, it make take a while to remember what to do, but I usually remember what I was doing quite quickly.
Yes. It's a real problem, but I usually don't restart the game just because of it.
Yes! Depending on the game I may just restart. It's a better experience if you keep momentum!
It's not so much that I can't remember what happened, but I just stop being motivated to care about what's happening in the game if I take too long of a break. If I stop playing an RPG for more than a few weeks, it's a good bet that I'm not going to finish it. The only exceptions I can remember are FFXII and Suikoden V, both of which I had last stopped for some odd months right outside the final dungeon, and I just had to go through and beat it.
This happens a lot! I usually try and figure out what I was doing or was about to do, or just start again.
Man, that happened to me twice in Legend of Dragoon before I actually finished that game.
It usually happens on second runs though, not usually before finishing it.
Ugh this happened with FFX. I had rented it from Blockbuster and got my own copy like a year later or so and completely forgot what i was doing so i started a new game.

Yup, all the time. I usually have a go at it and try and remember, but if I'm pulling a blank I'll restart.
Are you my twin or something? ;o I have the same thing with the boss fights. I'll get mad at that game so I'll go play another one and get mad at that one instead so I'll go back to game 1 and I'll be able to do just fine all of a sudden :pQuote:

Happens to me all the time. It ends up with me restarting the game.
