X or X-2?
No, not just in general we all know what the right answer of that would be, but instead battle system wise. The only plus of FFX is that it had a fairly solid battle system, a few have even praised it as the "best in the series" (I'd disagree.) In terms of pure battle system which do you prefer? FFX or FFX-2?
I enjoyed X's more. Although X-2's was a fun twist on the ATB system, I really loved X's system of showing you exactly what order you will fight in. I thought it was an awesome touch that turned turn base from it's usually overleveling-to-win mantra, to a game that is incredibly enjoyable and strategic if you didn't overlevel.

That's...really tough. I'd say FFX-2's was more fun. It would have been nice to have that in FFX's atmosphere.

X's is one of the best I think -and yes, better than X-2's too.
Just as you do, I really enjoy the way the order of everyone's moves changes considering the ability you are going to use, especially boss fights turned out to be extremely strategic.
Even over-leveled there're still dark aeons to fight.
