What was your highest chain? What enemies was it on?
My highest chain was on the Urutan-Yensa. I got up to something like 56 before I decided to take on the Urutan Eater. I guess I needed to make 60 before I could win :(

I've had like a chain of over 100. I forgot how much exactly it was.
120ish was my highest on this play-through so far, in Lhusu Mines beating down undead. Pretty sure it was the same place same way the first time I played the game at about 100ish.
999. Using Negalmuur cheat. Otherwise, can't remember. But possibly over 100.
Somewhere in the early 100's as well.
Outside of the Negalmuur exploit, I've probably gotten around fifty-ish grinding in some place.
I got a 67 combo once with Vaan. I can't remember against who, but I do remember being extremely proud of it at the time.
I've hit the 999 mark plenty of times.
The zombie guys in the Stillshrine of Miriam (not related to Negalmuur) got me over a hundred. They autospawned as part of some puzzle or something? Anyway, they gave 0 exp, so it wasn't a very productive thing, hunting them. xD
Aww, how boring, sharer of my avatar of a few weeks ago~!
I shouldn't have watched this page, what I was so proud of seems quite meaningless now. :(
Yeah... I never really stayed around an area with respawning enemies. I'll have to do that and just let the gambits work their magic while I get a bite to eat or something.
Well in my case, they didn't simply respawn out of the blue; you had to do something. xP I think the only way to do go off to lunch with your characters continually fighting is with the Negalmuur exploit. :D
Besides, there isn't any point in it really. Beyond the achievement in your Clan Primer for reaching 50, I don't think there is any record keeping of how high a combo you have reached.
Oh, yeah I understand. But it makes it much easier and faster to pick up loot, right? That's the whole point of chaining from my understanding. It doesn't effect anything else does it?
