The People's Democratic Party of the Republic of Eyeson
I have always struggled to represent the interests of the common poster against the Cid's Knights and Administrators who have conspired to keep us humble and weak, that we will in our dependence not rebel.
All my attempts at reaching an understanding, particularly with Psychotic, nay even permanent friendly cooperation, were foiled by the wish of a small clique, who, either out of hatred or for material reasons, refused any suggestion of agreement and did not conceal their intention or desire of evil. This cabal, the driving force behind the evil plots afoot today, is led by Daniel Towns and his accomplices in the Shinra government.
It is no longer profitable to continue our negotiations with the rulers of this place. A new order must be established, an order which is built on the membership rather than those who would sell our site to the Fool's Gold administration.
Therefore, I propose myself as the only acceptable candiate for those loyal members who support the cause of EoFF security in the face of a hostile world, a world with who we are forced to fight to secure our homeland and families. But how can we fight when we are beset by enemies internal as well as external? When we are betrayed daily?
I will enforce these policies upon my election:
- We demand equality of rights for the Eyeson people in its dealings with other sites.
- We demand bandwidth and storage space to feed our people and to settle our surplus population.
- The right to vote on the Site's government and rules shall be enjoyed by the members of the Site alone. We demand therefore that all official appointments, of whatever kind, whether in the Staff Forum, in the Site Staff or in the smaller localities, shall be held by none but members.
- We oppose the corrupting custom of filling posts merely in accordance with party considerations, and without reference to character or abilities.
- We demand the ruthless prosecution of those whose activities are injurious to the common interest. Common spammers, advertisers, trolls, etc., must be punished with IP perma-banning.
- We demand the expulsion from the site those who have committed injurious acts against the membership and the destruction of their one-sided power over the membership.
- We demand that all official site correspondence and debate be open to public scrutiny, whether this take the form of PMs, IMs, emails, secret forums, etc.
I promise to work ruthlessly -- if need be to sacrifice my very membership -- to translate this programme into action.
