FF 7 - PC - black screen/crashes at startup

just installed final fantasy 7

i have a problem, when i launch the game and start new game, it was just black screen all throughout, it did not crash though, i could still ctrl+q quit.

I reinstalled it BUT NOW i have a bigger problem, it crashes just as soon i launch the game (ff7 has stopped working) :confused:

(i have windows 7 and all said codecs)
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T6600 @ 2.20GHz (2 CPUs), ~2.2GHz

if you require any other information, id be glad to comply

then run FF7.exe in WinXp compatibility mode and as an administrator.

also having a dual core cpu is not the same as having 2 cpus lol

You need 1.02 FF7.exe and then go to Qhimm.com forum and look up Aali's Driver. PC version is now completely stable.
