I enjoyed the reimagination of the FF1 characters in Dissidia, especially Garland. I liked his design a lot.
If SE was going to completely redo FF1, they'd have to to do it in acknowledgement of the fact that gamers expect a lot more in terms of story and character development. It'll have to be a completely different game in order to appeal to more than just the established FF fraternity.
Yeah I think if they do an FFI remake like that it'll be a huge deal. They could even end the FF series with it.

A 3D remake would require a lot of effort and change to the point where it would probably be an entirely different game. I mean, I think everyone would be after more than just some pretty visuals.
As far as I know the FFIII remake was quite close to the original. Don't see why they can't do so with FFI.
Yeah, why's everyone talking about plot and character development. Can't they just spruce up the graphics without going over board. Maybe combine it with that other topic and have a deeper customization with gender and color choices.Quote:

I'd love to see this game remade in the style of FF III DS.
