St George is the patron saint of Blighty. He's also an important said throughout Europe many countries and cities have adopted the cross (England, Georgia, Genoa, Milan, Barcelona). He wasn't even English though. He was Roman & is the most venerated Saint in the Roman Catholic church.Quote:
