How did you celebrate today?
I have no idea what that is, so I'll just smile instead :p
I wore red!
That was about it really. ^ ^'
St George is the patron saint of Blighty. He's also an important said throughout Europe many countries and cities have adopted the cross (England, Georgia, Genoa, Milan, Barcelona). He wasn't even English though. He was Roman & is the most venerated Saint in the Roman Catholic church.
In fact the only Patron Saint of the Brirish Isles that was actually born on the British Isles was St. David of Wales.
I didn't. I'm Anti St George. (No offence to any supporters).
You must be pro-dragon then.
If he isn't, I am. Dragons are awesome!
It's ANZAC day here. We commemorate the Aussies and Kiwis who gave their lives fighting in Gallipoli back in WW1.
But I can get on the back of this celebration. The St. George-Illawarra Dragons rugby league team is playing later today.
Isn't St George's the day when Irish people dress up in boring colours and queue for hours?
Did I just get called a dragon?
It's better than what we usually call you, at least.
I mean they. It's better than what they usually call you. Those bastards.
I'm welsh living in england, I saw one georges cross.... that was it :p Now, St David's day in Cardiff, rock on! :D
