Red vs Blue

For many years I have known that Cyan's original Japanese name was Cayenne. This led me to believe that Cayenne either meant blue like Cyan or had nothing to do with colour at all and just sounded like Cyan. However it was not until a few days ago did I realise to my surprised that Cyan and Cayenne while both colours are infact two completely different colours:

All my life I had associated Cyan (the character) with the colour Blue, but now I dont know how to feel about him.

So topic: What colour would you associate with Cyan/Cayenne?

I never associated him with any color, it was always just a name for me. In much the same way the name Cloud doesn't make me think of atmospheric formations.

I associate him with silver. The silver flash of his blade.:ffviscorn:

He is the color of awesome.
