Etymologies & Connections

I am new here, but I would also like to start a thread relating to etymologies of names. This would include both the Japanese and the English names of characters, items, summons, locations, and more - it would also include any special anagrams, theme, and pun related to the name and it owner, so to speak. Particularly for FF7, FF8, and FF9. Is that possible for me to do? If so, where should I post something like that.

For that matter I would also like to start a thread that is related to connections between two things (Example: Alexandria and Madain Sari of FF9) and other such things - I guess would could call it more of theory and educated thoughts kind of thread. The connections thread would also contain trivia related to any FF games. Is that doable?

That is a least five different threads I would like to start. I'm sorry but I don't think I know where I can place the connections/trivia thread or the 3 different etymologies threads. Help me understand where they should go, as I have tried Site Contributions with this one. I would like to know particulars so that I can know where it goes.
