KOEI Romance of the three kingdoms series

So, anyone play this? :mymelheart:

I've lost contact with a friend who said he would lend it to me, so no, but it looks like a lot of fun.

I'm a fan of the Dynasty Warriors games as well, despite it's repetitive nature and the fact that KOEI's up to the fifth sequel and it plays pretty much exactly the same.

I guess you need to be at least a little familiar with the history behind the Three Kingdoms period to really get into the games. I'm currently watching the new Three Kingdoms TV series and it makes me want to play the games again. =]

Actually I had no idea about three kingdoms' stuff until I play the game itself and became an addict on three kingdoms stuff. The first one I played was Romance of the three kingdoms II on the PC. I heard Romance of three kingdoms XI is avaliable in English too! :bigsmile:

I've played all of them since VII, I believe. xD Me and my friend Michael would spend days and days conquering China.

Do you usually create your own warlord or you use a preset one? :bigsmile:

BTW, you prefer playing as an officer or a ruler? :bigsmile:
