some Question

Hi guys I am new here I have some Questions
Can I level up materias with the ultimate weapons?
I have recently found cids final limit break highwind item thingy but everytime I click on the item then choose cid he says I don't know like its not his what should I do
I am also trying to get clouds omnislash but I never seem to have enough GP to enter the battle arena is there a way of getting GP quickly
Isn't the code to the lock in the shinra mansion right to 36 left to 10 right to 59 and right to 97 but everytime I try this code it says fail what should I do?
I was trying to get knights of the round but I don't have a chocobo lure I am on disk 3 so is there a way to get it?
U know there r ultimate weapons but I need a nice strong bangle is there an ultimate bangle?

You should be able to. Then again, it's been a while since i played the game so don't take my word for it.

He needs to learn his other Limit Breaks first.

No. But you can still put them in your armor.

You can get 30 GP easily if you do the Mog-game in Wonder Square and then talk to the person next to it (only works once).
Later on, Chocobo Race nets you an incredible amount of GP in short time.

Like in real life, you must never go higher/lower than the number. And you also need to 'Confirm' if you are on a number.

There is one just below the chocobo stables (Disc 2 and 3).

Not really... but my personal favourite is the Ribbon.
Ribbon 1: Found in Temple of Ancients.
Ribbon 2: Found in the Great Glacier (hidden room).
Ribbon 3: Complete Special Battle in Battle Square 10x.
More Ribbons: Morph "Master Tonberry" in the Northern Cave. Note that the easiest way to do this is to equip Cloud's Ultimate Weapon, Yuffie's best weapon (forgot the name), give Yuffie the Morph ability, Cloud the 4x Cut ability, then instantly use 4x Cut, then Morph on the Master Tonberry. You will probably deal 9999 with every attack.

Then there's also the Touph Ring (mistranslation of Tough Ring), which is stealable from Reno twice: in the sunken Gelnika (Disc 2, optional missable battle) and in the underground of Midgar when you fight all three.

Another nice accessoire would be the Tetra-Elemental, which is gotten by morphing Cactuers on the southern Cactus-Island. It absorbs the four main elements.

No the 8 slot weapons have no growth. You can tell what they do in the equip menu when selecting a weapon/armor. Look below the slots and it should say nothing, normal, double, or triple.

You can only learn level 4 limit breaks once you have all the other limit breaks for the character learned. So with cid you will need to learn 2 level 1's, two level 2's, and his two level 3 limit breaks before you can learn highwind.

The best way to get GP is chocobo racing or running in and out of the gold saucer and buying GP from a guy behind the save point.

You should be able to get a chocobo lure for free. Check the chocobo ranch area before entering any of the buildings. If it isn't there (should be on the bottom right of the screen) then see if any of the three people will sell you it.

There are many ultimate bangles to choice from. Escort Guard, Forth Bracelet, Imperial Guard, Minerva Band, Mystile, and Shinra alpha are all pretty nice.

With the code what you're doing wrong is definitely that you're going past the number and then back again, you have to stop directly at the right number.

Chocobo racing is best for GP in my opinion. :D just watch a movie or something on your computer while you enter bets every now and then.

Wait someone said I have to get all of cids limits but I did I got dragon dive and big brawl that's level 3 limits for cid but still I can't pick cid when using the highwind item thingy

Do you have all these limits?

Boost Jump
Dynamite
Hyper Jump
Dragon
Dragon Dive
Big Brawl

You need all six before you can use the last one. There's a very rare glitch with Cid and his last limit, so if you have all six then I guess you're a victim of this, but usually with threads like this there is a limit the player has missed out on getting.

This is the code. I don't know what your doing wrong here.

You can't go past the numbers as you're cycling though. So, say you're doing "left to 10", if it goes past it and gets to 9, start all over, you won't unlock it.

Another thing you might be doing wrong is not selecting the numbers and just highlighting them. You actually have to press Circle (or OK, or whatever you've set your confirm button to) on each number.

And my personal opinion is that Mystile is the best armour/bangle.

edit: it's fun to have questions like these again xD

I think we could call this fact. Its sad that you only get two in the game. Also I think I forgot about the dragon armlet if that's what its called. Its got 3 linked slots (holds 6 materias) and "drains 1/3 of damage done by Ice/fire/water" Still not the best but the add on is pretty good. That is why I listed Minerva Band and Escort Guard. They are powerful and they have nice bonuses.

Weird... try learning him Highwind while he is on Limit Level 3 (though he probably is)? I know there's a bug with Red XIII, if you tried to learn his last limit, it would only work if he was on Limit Level 3.

your using the item in the items menu right? I know he won't learn it unless it is used on him. Hope you figure it out.
