Is it possible that Vanitas may return in Kingdom Hearts III?
Its possible, but he would only be an extra boss and would not be involved in the storyline at all. Although I think they would use Ventus for something like that because by the end of Birth by Sleep, we should all be experts at defeating Vanitas.
