Just wondering if anybody knew of any way to dowload the full game of Age of Epires 2? I have the trial, but I would like the full game. And if this method could somehow, say, not involve money, that would be even better. Thanks!

I know you said you didn't want to shell out cash for it, but my copy only cost me $10 from the bargain bin at my local video game retailer.
And after a quick browse of eBay, I've found that you can get the Collector's Edition (that's AoE 1 and 2 and their expansion packs) for around $20.
If I recall correctly there was a time when AoE1 came in cereal boxes
AoE is terrible when you compare it to Rise of Nations which uses the same engine.

no it doesn't. Rise of nations uses both 2d and 3d graphics while AoE2 is all 2d sprites. Agree with your first point though. The game is horribly unbalanced.Quote:

And who cares if the game's a bit unbalanced? It's still really fun to play. =D
Briton's longbowmen were enough to destroy anything and everything.
The Huns' enforced homelessness made militia rushing early game so fun and easy. Small maps were better for it though.
