Definitely not if you're just playing online games. Never really heard about how you could any other way, so I'd say you're good.
You can't get a virus on PS3, even if someone made one for it. The PS3 refuses to run any code that isn't digitally signed by Sony. It's part of the same thing that prevents the running of pirated games.
