Apologies if a similar topic is here already, but does anyone else like the Ys series? The ones with the red-headed kid who stumbles into lands that just so happen to need saving from an ancient death god. I find Adol himself charming even as a silent hero, and the way the games play, they have a nice flow and a quest that's neither too long nor too short.
Anyone else?
I have always been interested in video game music since I was a young child. Notably, the Ys series was memorable to me for its music alone, as I had never played any of the games due to the lack of localization for its titles.
I will finally be playing through the series in about a month with a friend as we were looking for a new video game series to explore.
