Until the game gets good. That's what they said, anyway.
Yes, the free trial period has been extended indefinitely until further notice. I assume that the free trial will end once the game has reached a significant level of development like a major version update or the release of the console version, as the costs of development and server maintenance need to be made up sooner rather than later for Square Enix.
I'm guessing sometime around when they'll release the PS3 version. Whenever that is.
Translation: Indefinitely.
Well that's pretty neat. Enjoy it while it's free then, I guess.
It's supposed to be free because it's supposedly unenjoyable, actually. xD But yeah, that's basically how I see it. I'll probably continue to log in once or twice a month and level up a bit, which should hopefully mean that when it's good and goes live on PS3 I can pay, hop on and help everyone with gear etc. for a decent period of time. I think I have something like five classes at rank 18-19 now...
And yet I still feel I wasted a lot of money on the initial price...
Yeah i still feel like i wasted money...i played it for less than a month and even when it went free, i didn't wanna log in because theres nothing to do...
