Anarchy Reigns
Some may remember the Wii game Madworld, which was developed by Platinum Games. For those who don't know, they were formed by staff of Clover after it folded after the release of Okami.
The below trailer is for Platinum's current project and features Madworld's main character, Jack. Anarchy Reigns is described as a "massively multiplayer beat-em-up" and is scheduled for release this fall.
EDIT: Screw it, the video insertion here doesn't seem to like me: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=etCo_Zlfbe0
Considering that Bayonetta, Madworld, and Vanquish were all released to mostly critical praise, I'm interested to see what Platinum can do with a multiplayer game.

Not a fighting game, a 'beat-em-up'. The difference between Street Fighter and Dynasty Warriors (or, more relevantly, MadWorld).
I'd be interested to see what Platinum could do with a fighting game too, but they're masters of the 'beat-em-up'. I'm kind of interested to see how this will work, but even though I love all 4 of Platinum's games, I'm worried about how this will be 'balanced'.

wouldn't exactly call vanquish a critically praised title unless you consider retards to be actual critics. That game was nothing but another run off the mill TPS with a campaign that didn't last for more than a few hours.

You sure are wrong a lot. Though I'm only basing this on two things you've said that I disagree with (your Megaten comment in another thread).

Vanquish is awesome. Both it and Bayonetta were my favourite games of last year so obviously I'm excited for whatever Platinum do next, even if its on a console I dont own.
Hope Anarchy Reins is more God Hand than Madworld.

Anyway, it was listed as a fighting game on the site I learned about the game from, but this was before I had gameplay footage to clarify it.
Speaking of gameplay footage, there are currently four trailers featuring characters from the game. Two are from Madworld (Jack and Big Bull), and the other two are original characters as far as I can tell.
Big Bull
Jack
Sasha
