Read the Announcements

I've noticed a lot of you assholes don't read the announcements. Do you?

Can you make them flash, sparkle, or otherwise notice-garnering? Shifting my eyes up another few degrees is taking a toll on my back.

Not really, no. Are they important? I read the announcement titles, sometimes.

Announcements are always important. It would be pretty cool if they were highlighted a different colour for each user until they were marked as read, though. Don't know why that isn't an in-built feature.

That's a good idea. Make Rantz invent it.

I don't read them because they're that faded gray, like links I've already clicked on.

If it's that important it will probably show up in my face whenever I absent-mindedly click on 'new thread'

That's it, we're making the announcements into pop-ups.

Usually the information in the announcements is boring and unimportant. Make them exciting and I might read them.
