Have you ever helped someone realize something about him or herself that they were oblivious to before your help?

I help people realise things all the time. And then they ignore it and pretend it doesn't exist :(

This is the case mostly, 'cos 9/10 people just revert back to what they do normally without noticing.

Recently a friend of mine had always thought that he couldn't understand chess enough to play until I broke it down to him and within minutes he knew.

I helped a customer understand the difference between waiting twenty minutes and feeling like you've been waiting twenty minutes. It had only been seven :roll2
