And is your disc scratched or is your drive dusty?

and are you playing this for Playstation or PC? If you're playing on PC then maybe someone on the internet could play through that part for you and give you your save file back. If you're on Playstation I guess you might be out of luck. It would often freeze on that spot for me on my playstation.
