Bad Things Put In Ordinary Terms

Let us talk about bad things without all the drama associated with them.

Rape-murder is bad.
Religious genocide is bad.
HIV is bad.

Let us discuss bad things. :colbert:

Miscarriages are bad.

My hunger is bad, so starving kids everywhere is super bad.

This thread is bad.

Telling people you don't know how to live their lives is bad.

Having a whole box of doughnuts and not sharing them is bad.

Being "dumped." It's so much worse than the word makes it seem. "Crushed" doesn't necessarily work, either. More like "having your heart ripped out, stomped on with soccer cleats, getting shredded and burned, then being stapled and hot glued back together and stuck back in your chest in a way that it will never heal or even get slightly more bearable." But that's a few too many syllables for everyday conversation.
Also, being alive.

When the corner of the bed sheet comes undone but it's too late to get up and fuss with it.
