Well, that was unpleasant...
I think the impact was lost for me as I am at work and have small IE windows open, taking up around a third of one of my 19" screens. So I kind of scrolled right past it without really thinking. xD Oh well. It's a well done little piece, though, regardless of the 'fright factor'.
EDIT: Also, after reading HC's post below, I had no idea there was sound. :p My PC at work is muted.

I recognized the page once I clicked the link. I watched it again, though, because it's great.
HERE'S AN ACTUAL STORY because I am on a computer sans speakers and I cannot watch the video.
I worked as an IT assistant for a local school district over the summer, and I was helping my coworker, Kyle, put some old RAM sticks in some old PC's to deliver them to a school. I went to plug in a PC in the back of the tower to see if the RAM worked, and the computer started sparking and smoking. I damn near burned my hand, and almost threw up because I was so smurfing scared.
