The Cheaters Pool
Reminded/inspired by Pike's thread, I noticed this article the other day:
Max Payne 3 Makes Cheaters Fight Each Other - IGN
Love the idea. Do you? Now the only problem I think is they leave the gamers themselves to do the reporting. I reckon with a bit of effort Rockstar could register cheaters by recording movement and player characteristics somehow. Either way, it's definitely a creative and noble solution.
It also reminded me of how the creators of Dark Souls handled players who 'somehow' obtained a copy of the game early: From Software terrorizing people who are playing Dark Souls early | EGMNOW
Any more examples of creative "crowd control" in gaming?

I laughed at the idea in the article. I think it's a good idea. I wish it were around for the Halo 2 days when it seemed like 40% of the people in every match used cheats.
