anyone know of the best nintendo wii game to buy to lose weight? we have tried the "just dance" ones, and also "wii fit" with the balance board, and "biggest loser" has anyone actually bought a game they love playing and seem to be losing weight?

The best game to lose weight is to put on some damn running shoes and start doing real exercise.

I'd say plain old World War II itself will do the trick.
Wii games are hardly substitutes for proper exercise but as a fun supplement then you should just pick something that you enjoy and won't get bored of. Wii Fit had some fun mini games that I played with some friends over a period of about 5 hours which is quite a while to be "slightly active." I guess.
Wii games are definitely no replacement for actual exercise, but if you want to do something fun, WarioWare's always nice. It's no workout, but it makes me sweat. :P

Anyways yeah, I'd say a gym membership and regular attendance at said gym is better exercise than any Wii game. The problem with most of those supposedly movement-heavy games is they're not the cardiovascular workout you think they're gonna be because you're still mostly standing around.
Of course if you've got a PS2, and a dance mat and can play it on at least medium difficulty then the constant footwork will actually work up a good sweat. That I CAN recommend in the unlikely event that you really can't stand going outside, especially seeing as playing DDR is a wee bit embarrassing.
