Is anyone else this crazy?
Not me. I just pronounce the song the same as I pronounce the name.
Due to the insane amount of supposedly correct translations, I call the boss theme Sarani Tatakau Monotachi, its Japanese name, or just "FF7 boss theme" or similar. Those Who Fight Further, I use exclusively to refer to the amazing arrangement by The Black Mages.
P.S. It's pedantry, not pedantism.
pedoism.
Nope. I pronounce it Jen-oh-vuh
Why would you pronounce all of the letters even if that's what it looks like it should be that's just way too much effort man gosh
Your a pedantism, Jiro.
WHAT DOES THIS EVEN MEAN
I pronounce the military group as "Es - Oh - El - Dee - Aie - Ee - Ar" and the
rebel group as "Ay - Vee - Ay - El - Ay - En - See - Aych - Ee"... no, seriously, you're messed up.
It would only be pedantic if you bugged other people for "mispronouncing" the names. As is, you're just weird.
Aesthetic value? You raise a good point but I refuse to go out of my way to sound weird.
