Well I considered just talking about this in the Best Non-FF Soundtrack thread but Xengoears deserves its own topic.
What would your Top 5 Xenogears Tracks list look like? If you want to do more or less than 5, that's fine. Why you feel so strongly about your chosen song(s) would be great to hear.
I'm more interested in getting other people's opinions than giving my own but I will start with one of my favorites that tends to get overlooked.
I remember this track mainly for when Elly becomes more like "her true self" after you defeat the Wels boss on Disk 2. She gives an emotional speech that shows how much she has matured up to this point.

Wolf Kanno
Bonds of Sea and Fire is easily my favorite track in the game and I tend to listen to it when I need to relax and center myself. It's just a peaceful track.
The First and the Last is often overlooked but I really love all vocal tracks and it's a pretty amazing piece to have during the ending.
I will second the Shattering Egg of Dreams as I really like the more melancholic tracks in this game.
Though a Distant Promise is another huge favorite but I am a sucker for music box themes.

Pray for the People's Joy is my favorite. I've seen another name on different collections and I know there's an laternate version the game uses but when the Kaiser is introduced playing this song, it kinda sealed the deal for me, I was hooked on this ride. Too bad it introduced the Kieslev slums, one of the worst parts of the game.
The Blue Traveler is another favorite, especially when it starts getting really good at 0:41. Very reminiscent of anime, especially mecha.
Shevat - The Wind is Calling deserves a mention for just how smurfing cool and laid back it is. A beautiful song for a beautiful place.
Will co-sign Wolf on the Distant Promise, that's kinda the whole game right there
I'm surprised, this kind of music usually isn't my typical kind of favorites on a VG soundtrack, but Gears was a really ambitious game and there's some crazy range and powerful emotion here. Good reminiscin with ya'll!

Forsaken Lover
I think we can all agree that Distant Promise is best utilized in this scene.
