After FF2, I remember being blown away by FF3 by its graphics and especially its music.
Got it for Christmas just a couple of months later. 18 years ago? Damn, I'm getting old. Anyway, yeah, this game brings back fond memories. I would proceed to play through it multiple times for a few years after it was released. Especially any summer while I was in Jr. High.

I actually didn't play through this game until I was in college...I loaded it up and while it was simplistic, it was a LOT of fun.
Especially when the midpoint of the game happens...never seen something that shocking in a game in a long time.
Just, why is Terra's hair green?...That makes no sense!
This came out when I was one? Wow, it aged pretty well didn't it!

As a side note, beating this original game on the original hardware is on the "game informer 150 things every gamer should do" list. 18 already? Wow, I was... 11? Though I didn't play it until 95. I still remember getting frustrated with ATB combat and throwing a fit, thinking something along the lines of "how can anyone like this crap?". It's now of my favorite games of all time. :D
