I'm newbie here!

Hi everyone!
i used to play ffxi for 3-4 years. it has been many years since last time playing. cap was 75 and wings just came out. I used to have few characters, but no clue ID's and all that jazz. So i would have to start from scratch. But i miss FFXI! I'm sure it isn't as bad as when i left, when prices were out of control, camping HNM was useless due to bot by big leagues. I was on Shiva server. my characters were Gorgone. For the last year or two i was Enmei. i was wondering if people still camped Faf and other original HNM's? i would like to get Ridell back. I haven't bought 360 or game, but i miss it and want to make sure how things are in game before investing. Is it still going, strong, fun and how's population? Hope theres still good amount of peeps playing, not a ghost town.

We still have a few members that play FFXI here, although some longtime players switched to FFXIV.

Welcome! I also played FFXI for a number of years. Was considering starting back up a couple of months ago but me and a couple friends chose XIV instead for something new. I haven't played XI since '11 so I can't tell you how active it is nowadays, but I imagine with the announcement of the new expansion the population is starting an upswing. :D

I, too, am on Shiva. Look up Prothall or Profane on Thursday & Friday nights for an active LS.

I'll usually not be on til later in the evening for the rest of this month because of NaNoWriMo, though.
