Mortal Kombat The Movie
I just watched it for the first time in years and ya know what?
It holds up.
It's a well-cast film with amazing music, awesome fights and it takes the rathe simple Mk video game story and adapts it superbly.

Man, I haven't seen that since it came out. All I remember is that Sonya Blade was Billy Madison's girlfriend.

Well, after a lot of really awesome kung fu movies coming out the fights don't hold up as well for me, but it's a fun popcorn flick nonetheless.
My favorite line is "Those were $500 sunglasses, you asshole."
Also "Let's dance." Johnny Cage owned that film!
