Cheddar, definitely. Mozzarella, sweet? No, just bland.
I don't know about mozzarella, but "cheddar" is actually a vague term. There are several dozen types of cheddar that vary to suit individual tastes, and range from tangy to spicy to sharp to bland. So I guess cheddar would depend on the brand you buy, the place you get it from, and/or where you live in the world. Mozzarella has never stricken me as a sweet taste, though. I have a hypersensitive palette and I normally tell what kind of tastes things are, and I would describe most cheeses as more savory than anything. In case you're one of the people who says "umami isn't a real taste sensation dammit" then I guess yeah, cheddar would be a combination of sweet and salty... or maybe that's because put a little bit of salt on my cheese :greenie:
I'll take Filet Mignon as a half-and-half option.
Cheddar is bitter and taste like trout.
Mozzarella, sure, it's a bit sweet.
Filet Mignon.
