I always thought Aeris' dress was supposed to be as demure as Cloud's. I didn't realize it was actually more in line with Tifa's.

They're able to show off a little more, because they're actual women.

I don't see anything about Aeris' dress that is in line with Tifa's.

Tifa looks cuter and more sexy. Aerith just looks too plain.

Well, my original take on Aeris' dress was that she had an undershirt.

Aeris looks like she's wearing one of those weird dress-onesies that women used to wear during the disco era.

I think it's a cocktail dress.

Yeah I thought that was obvious! Tifa's is more along the lines of a dress girls would wear when they go clubbing; short, tight and flashing a bit of skin. Aeris' is one that a lady would wear to a fancy dinner party or something; long, sweeping and elegant, but still very sexy.

So Aerith is an uptown girl... Tifa is a suburbanite... and Cloud is the farm...girl.
