All were good but yeah clearly CYoA > Animorphs >>> Goosebumps.

Yes. Just. smurfing, yes. I have a copy from like the early 80s, and the art on the inside is terrible.

I should read these one day, if I can find them. I love the CYOA genre (I'm even writing my own), but these are the original after all.

Funfact: One of the CYOA books had only one happy ending, and (SPOILER)there was not one choice that linked to it at all. This was not a mistake, but was actually the point of the ending; that you had to cheat to get to it - the page itself even started with something like "You did not follow any of the choices, but..."

Like everyone else so far, I loved these books as a kid. I've probably read like 20 of them.
