Good old SNES. PS2 or NES is probably second (though if PS2's backwards-compatibility with PS1 doesn't count then I'd rank PS1 ahead of it).
Without hesitation, PS2. The most wonderful consol ever created. A close second is my old Sega Mega Drive II. Some of the old Sega games (like "Aladdin") actually looked better than many Playstation One games. oO
PC :p
SNES.
Game Boy Advance was also pretty great, in no small part because of all the SNES ports.
That said, pretty much all of my favorite games are PC games...
The SNES, of course!
The PC isn't a console :doublecolbert: If it counts though, obviously the PC, because I can just emulate SNES, NES, PS, etc. games :monster:
PS2.
I love snes but I never had one so ps2 wins, especially since it could play every ps1 game.
The PS2 is my favorite only if it's backwards compatibility with the Sony Playstation counts.
PS1/Sega Saturn, Mega Drive and PC Engine.
It's nearly a tie between PS2 and SNES, but I'm not sure which one ended up at the top.
Of course, my PS2 is also special in that it has a modchip and HDD loader.
Playing SNES was probably the most fun I had playing video games. Like others, I also have to give props to PS2 for its great lineup of games and the fact that it could play any PS1 game.
I'm going to make an executive decision here and say it counts because smurf it, it's the PC.
But for a dedicated console, it has to be the PS2. SNES would be a close second, but the PS2 was the biggest console ever for a reason, and that reason was bitchin' games.
I wouldn't count the PC unless we're going by specific models, so you can't use the general "PC" but if you have some fond memories of the Apple II or Commodore 64 be my guest. :p
Yeah for actual consoles I'd say PS1. I spent more time on that then any other console. PS2 close second.
