If you had to pick one Esper to be your guardian...

...which would it be, and why?

Zodiark probably. Just because he's the most powerful even though he's only a child. His very existence "bends all things into oblivion" and he rules in the absence of the gods and such. Plus he'd make a cute pet.

Ultima or Zodiark

Zodiark and Ultima are both givens but I also love Chaos, Zeromus, and Exodus. Mateus and Famfrit are pretty sweet as well...

Shemhazai, because simply owning bits of rust would turn him into an ultimate form of destruction.

Or Mateus or Zalera, in case I wanted to knock out a crafty one.

Well Zalera can just kill anything that I want him to so that's a pretty handy trait in a guardian.
