You can experience it from any perspective you like. Maybe you'd want to be in the audience watching the Aria Di Mezzo? Maybe you'd want to attempt the SeeD exam in Dollet?

Personally, I'd probably be getting drunk with Avalanche in Tifa's Heaven after their raid on the first mako reactor.
