10 Top 10 Films

Ambitious goal, Laddy. I can probably give you one, but not ten.
Action: Die Hard
Adventure: Raiders of the Lost Ark
Animation: Aladdin
Comedy: The Big Lebowski
Crime: Se7en
Drama: The Godfather
Romance: N/A
Epics:
Historical:
Fantasy: Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers
Horror: N/A
Thriller: The Fugitive
Musical: The Sound of Music
Science Fiction: The Empire Strikes Back
For some reason I can't think of any epics or historical right now. What counts as epic?
-
A long, typically non-fantastical, quest-based storyline with heroic protagonists, large budgets, and rather deliberate pacing.
-
Action and Adventure: Commando
Animation: The Emperor's New Groove
Comedy: Austin Powers
Crime: Heat
Drama and Romance: America's Sweethearts...it counts as romance!!! It is a Rom-Com after all >.>
Epics and Historical: Lawrence of Arabia
Fantasy: Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring
Horror and Thriller: Pitch Black
Musical: The Producers
Science Fiction: Star Wars
Some of these categories were easier than others. The ones I put right off the bat are Sci-Fi, Horror, Historic, Action, Crime and Animation. The others were more like "I guess I will put this down" because I am not as big of a fan of those genre or nothing sticks out as "DUH!" to me...and I found my loop hole for Drama/Romance. Considering all of the Rom-Coms you shouldn't have double booked romance with drama. It gives a loop hole for fun =D

I'm not even close to completing that 100 Best Films list and I cannot think of only ten films for each of those genres. I cba to list all of them so I will just give you one or two of each. :monster:
Action and Adventure: Bad Boys and 300
Animation: Up and The Lion King
Comedy: Dumb and Dumber and Ace Ventura Pet Detective basically only movies from the 90s have made me laugh.

Epics and Historical Ben Hur
Fantasy: Pan's Labyrinth and mother smurfing Jumanji
Horror and Thriller: Oldboy and Psycho
Musical: No thanks. Does The Lion King and Nightmare Before Christmas count? Sweeney Todd wasn't horrible I guess.
