I wish we would get it. This game looks fantastic, and has gotten excellent reviews.
And supposedly (and as that resume would indicate) they've already done a lot of localisation work. They just need to release the bloody thing already.
Bah just release it already! On PSP too cause I don't want to shell out for Vita.
I wouldn't get your hopes up over this - his LinkedIn profile does indeed mention Type-0 but it's been on there since 2010 :(

Yeah I'd love for them to do a port. I'm loving the RE: Revelations 3DS > Console/PC port Capcom did - even if the graphics aren't obviously as good as the machines are capable of it's still nice to finally be able to play it.
Although with Type-0 I'd honestly welcome it regardless of what platform it's on. IT LOOKS SO GOOD xD
Just because they were working on it doesn't mean it will ever get released. The fact that SE has never even announced a release outside Japan and the game has been out for going on two years, on a system that's currently near the end of it's life cycle, doesn't exactly make this report seem significant.
I expect we'll get it some time years later as an HD remake packaged with another game, in the vein of Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories. Hey, maybe it'll be packaged with Versus XIII if it ever comes out?

I hope that's not it. I hate the "it's new!" when it's a remake. I keep hearing about typo 0 but i honestly haven't looked into it much. I really just don't like the non localization aspect that SE has. And even more so with that PDF they released about how they are going to make more games for certain locations. That just means we'll miss out on a lot more games :/
I'm actually expecting Agito to be a sequel to Type-0 actually. The game did pretty well in Japan and most people say it doesn't suck quite as bad as FFXIII. They did mention before the game was released that Agito could easily be branched out into its own franchise, which makes sense when you realize the game is about four different empires duking it out. Granted it will probably just be an iOS spin-off but oh well, its not like I've played the original to be bothered by that.
I'm still feeling that the "new next-gen FF" is either going to be Versus XIII rebranded or Agni's Philosophy turned into a game. SE is pretty bad about making a fuss over something people already know about so I'll honestly be surprised if the next gen FF is actually a completely never before seen IP and not something we already know about. If its a new chapter to FFXIII that tells the real true, "yes we really do mean its the last Lightning game, but seriously fans, why don't you love her?" sequel to FFXIII then I feel its time to seriously re-evaluate my loyalties.
We will see Type-0 in 10 years, just like NA saw the International Edition of FFX... 10 years later. :colbert:
