Eyes on EoFF: Number #34!
This week has certainly been busy in the busy world of EoFF-ville. Our bi-annual Ciddies is up and running and you would be a mad cactuar not to take part and nominate your favourite members today! There have also been revelations in Quina's Kitchen as the results of the cook-off were revealed earlier on this week: the sizzling winner is revealed below. And finally, the E3 is over, though you can still dissect all the juicy bits of information gleaned from it thanks to Aulayna's amazing coverage of it.
- Everyone's favourite awards ceremony is back! The Summer Ciddies is here and now is your chance to nominate your favourite member for awards such as Best Member, Craziest Member and more! Rules and other information can be found the in the thread along with a full list of awards on offer. There's also a 'For You Consideration' thread to promote either yourself or others for an award!
- The indomitable team of podcasters are back with their amazing follow-up to the first podcast. Building on the success of the first, Locky, Shauna, Mr Shauna and BoB discuss the Xbox One, the Triple Triad Tournament and much much more. It's a lengthy listen, but it is perfect for a nice commute or a quiet moment around the house.
- E3 is over for another year, but have no fear, for if you have missed anything, Aulayna has worked tirelessly to present to you a fantastic overview of the entire event! It's fabulous, and links you to all the conferences and discussion points. If you missed E3 for whatever reason, then definitely take a look.
- One of the revelations from E3 is the announcements of Kingdom Hearts 3 and Final Fantasy XV! Needless to say, all of us were jumping up and down in mild hysteria. There's a new sub-forum at the top of the forums to highlight these new and upcoming games, and within, you can discuss all the details for both games. It's exciting times indeed.
- Quina's Cook-Off concluded earlier this week, and the winner of the sizzling cook-off was... Freya! She has earned the title of Master of the Fork and has earned a prestigious Quina Triple Triad Card. If you want to look at all the delicious recipes entered, then look at the results thread for links to all of them and the judge verdicts!
- One thread that has enthralled me throughout is the Religious Thread in Eyes on Each other. It's both intensely deep and highly thought provoking. EoFFers don't always talk about silly things!
- The actor, James Gandolfini, died earlier this week, and it is a sad death, as he is one of the most loved actors on the scene. Known mostly for his work in 'The Sopranos', his death is a large one and his life is commemorated in this thread.
- Finally, there absolutely have been a wealth of birthdays this week, so don't hesitate to go to the member's birthday thread and send them a few happy messages!
