Howl's Moving Castle, The Breakfast Club, Only the Strong, Warrior and various porn flicks.
Half-Baked and The Big Lebowski.
Pretty much any decent action movie.
Harry Potter. I put it on and it lifts me up.
Cheech & Chong's Up In Smoke
Alice In Wonderland
Super Mario Bros (yep. The one with Bob Haskins & John Leguizamo & Dennis Hopper)
Legally Blond
Half Baked
The Sandlot
Little Rascals (that's kinda pushing it though)
Blow
Blood In, Blood Out
I'm sure there are others, I just can't think of them right now. I usually don't watch movies for a "pick me up" though. Especially if it's one I've seen a million times. I will watch them if I want to pass out really quick or to motivate me to get up and do something else since I have ADHD and can't sit still for very long. Drinking & cooking & my kid are my real "pick me ups" hahaha
Some Like it Hot is my ultimate movie for a rainy day, it's just timeless and will cheer me up no matter what mood I'm in.
Flight of Dragons, Balto, and any Studio Ghibli movie (most recently The Cat Returns. Such a good pick-me-up.)
STAR TREK: ANYTHING
Howl's Moving Castle is a good one! As are the other Miyazaki films.
Arsenic and Old Lace
Benny and Joon
Big Fish
Bringing Up Baby
Dirty Rotten Scoundrels
Labyrinth
Lost in Translation
My Blue Heaven
Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist
Princess Bride
Raiders of the Lost Ark
The Addams Family
The Dark Crystal
The Neverending Story
When Harry Met Sally
Willow
ie, anything and everything from my childhood. We watched Dirty Rotten Scoundrels sooo often as a kid; that would probably be my first go-to choice out of this list. I also love love love sitting down with old horror films after having a troutty day or during a rainy day (but I love the rain, so).
I think I am going to do just what Auly mentioned (wine?) and watch one of these tonight!
Princess Bride, yes.
Def Princess Bride.
I loved Lost in Translation too! And Big Fish, but it was for some reason really reminiscent of Secondhand Lions.
I love Studio Ghibli films, but Spirited Away makes me bawl my eyes out .. The theme song on the credits is so sad to me so it's hard to watch.
The Cat Returns is epic indeed (glares to avatar :greenie:) . Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke are awesome too.
Though not really a movie, watching Bob Ross paint always takes me to a happy place.

Goodfellas. I always watch it when I'm sick and it comforts me.
Mean Girls
Clueless
Other cheesy chick flicks
