Another day, another community update. This week, there's a real surge in communication within our community. There's been a Skype chat night literally tonight, as well as a drive by a well-known member to obtain phone numbers! More forum-bound, we've had a few birthdays and a few amazing threads so let's dive in and see what we find.

- Perhaps the biggest news this week is the continuation of the EoFF Elections. Tragedy has struck in the land of EoFF elections, and zombies have skulked the land. Only true leadership can prevail in the face of such hardship. Mull over the two party's details in the thread, and await for further instructions!
- Our contributors to the frontsite is what keeps EoFF a diverse and lovely community, as well as being a bastion of Final Fantasy news. Let's honour these people! The staff, particularly the editors, have kept us up to date with news, both gaming and Final Fantasy related. However, there's also been non-staffers who have really contributed to the frontsite with both entertaining and original articles that keep the members of EoFF busy reading. Read the thread and do praise the people who keep the frontsite articles going!
- Keys. Mankind's greatest foe, yet our best ally. We need them to open doors, but they frustrate us by disappearing frequently and are the bane of car owners everywhere. They go missing so often: what can we do to stop this common, everyday malady? Freya thinks a lanyard is best, but what do you think? All this and more in the Keys thread!
- EoFF is a vibrant community but we expand further than just this forum. Indeed, we have colonies all over the inter-webs, including a DeviantART community as well as fingers in the Skype pie. Tonight was a lovely Skype group chat session featuring many prominent members of the community. It was great fun, so if you haven't got an EoFFer as a contact, head into the Skype Thread today!
- The George Zimmerman verdict is incredibly controversial in America right now, and whatever is controversial in real life is the perfect EoEo thread. Five full pages of concise debate and legal talking!
- The XIV:ARR community is gearing up for the Phase 4 release, and with it comes the usual thread discussion that is but a formality. If you're an XIV:ARR player, then you have to join the Fat Chocobos Linkshell and Free Company, the official EoFF presence in the game. Look at the thread for more details on that! For more discussion about the upcoming revamp, look no further than the sub-forum!
- Finally to round off the week is the obligatory GIF thread. When you associate EoFF, my first thought isn't 'news about the Final Fantasy series', no, instead it is 'the place of GIFs'. There's a new animal GIF thread courtesy of Best newbie Mr.Shauna, which I'm sure will be hilarious. Meanwhile, the GIF reply thread is still going strong, so chip in today!
