MogTrivia Week
Hi everybody! My name is Ragtime Mouse, and I am your favorite trivia quizmeister. I have a question for you all! Do you know what time it is? Well, let me tell you that it's time for some MogTrivia Week!
That's right, this week I will be hosting some Final Fantasy Trivia for the next couple days. Each day I will post about 25 questions for you to answer, and everyone who plays along will earn some points! However, there is a catch! The person who correctly answers a question first will receive the most points! That would be ten points given away for answering first, and we go down from there to the next quickest. Those who answered late will only earn a single point for that question.
However, there'll be interval of five questions at a time, so I don't think we may see a perfect score of 250 points in a day. Who knows, maybe someone will surprise the Ragtime Mouse during MogTrivia Week?
Anyway, here's the schedule for MogTrivia Week!
Monday.
The Early Years (Final Fantasy I-VI Trivia)
Tuesday.
Final Fantasy VII Compilation Trivia
Wednesday.
The Later Years (Final Fantasy VIII-XI Trivia)
Thursday.
The Ivalice Alliance (Final Fantasy XII and Final Fantasy Tactics and Tactics Advanced Trivia)
Friday.
Fabula Nova Crystallis (Final Fantasy XIII and XIII-2 Trivia)
Saturday.
General Final Fantasy Quotes Trivia
The three players with the top scores at the end of the week may win a surprise prize each! What will that prize be? Why, it's a surprise, of course!
How To Play
Rule 1. You must have your answers in SPOILER tags! If I don't see the spoiler tags, you won't receive any points!
Rule 2. Please do not edit your answers after you have posted! If I see that you have edited your answer posts, you won't receive any points!
Rule 3. Have fun! Remember, this is still just a game, and I don't want to see any hurt feelings! Enjoy yourselves and have fun during MogTrivia Week!
We will be starting MogTrivia Week tomorrow on July 29th, 2013! Hope to see you posting answers in spoilers when we start!

(SPOILER)This sounds like it will be incredibly fun. Good luck everyone! :D
-
I will try (and fail) at this
-
Sounds like some awesome fun. When does it start?
-
Hnng, I'd sign up but I'm afraid that my timezone will make it difficult for me to get involved. :{
-
Do I need to sign up? If so, I'm signing up! If not, woohoo trivia!
-
There's no need to sign-up to play. Just join in and answer within spoilers to play. Everyone will get at least a few points as long they answer correctly.
With that in mind, here's our first interval of questions to start the day!
Remember, we'll be starting the first round today, so these questions are for the Early Years of Final Fantasy! We'll be focusing on the Old School years!
Questions.
1. In Final Fantasy, how much GP does your party start off with in the NES version?
2. In Final Fantasy, what do the citizens refer to the city of Cornelia as?
3. In Final Fantasy, where can you buy a Longsword?
4. In Final Fantasy II, what can Guy do that no other characters can?
5. In Final Fantasy III, what was the name of the cave discovered by the Onion Knights?

1) Um..... I'll take a stab at 400. That sounds ball-crushingly low enough right?
2) It's the first town in the game isn't it, therefore it must be pretty big, and rather easy and accommodating. Given how SE loves to have a town known as the 'City of Dreams', I'll just go with that.
3) Haven't a clue. This is probably a trick question and there is no longsword in Final Fantasy :p Let the mindsmurf begin. I'm joking I'm joking.
4) I remember hearing that he could speak to animals.
5) Ur......

Not bad. Other people can still answer the first five questions along with the next five.
Questions.
6. Final Fantasy III marks the first appearance of what class?
7. In Final Fantasy IV, how can the player have the normal world map theme play underground?
8. In Final Fantasy IV, which character had to overcome his darkness in order to become a warrior of light?
9. In Final Fantasy IV, what was the natural encounter rate for the Pink Flans?
10. In Final Fantasy IV, who is the first boss that you encounter?
-
(SPOILER)More guessing. I'm playing FFIV now, so I think I know two of these :D.
6. Final Fantasy III marks the first appearance of what class?
Trainer
7. In Final Fantasy IV, how can the player have the normal world map theme play underground?
I don't know
8. In Final Fantasy IV, which character had to overcome his darkness in order to become a warrior of light?
Cecil
9. In Final Fantasy IV, what was the natural encounter rate for the Pink Flans?
Umm 60%?
10. In Final Fantasy IV, who is the first boss that you encounter?
Mist Dragon
-
(SPOILER)
6. I've not even played III, but I urr... Onion Knight class?
7. Pffft. Haven't a clue. Probably from a glitch.
8. Cecil! Following IV Let's Plays really helps in this you know
9. Pfffffffffft. Wha?
10. Let's Plays really helps with this. From my memory, I'm torn between the Mist Dragon and the Titan summon, and I'm not sure which came first. I do think it was the Mist Dragon, so I'll go with that. Unless those very first battles on that airship were a 'boss'.
EDIT: I should say, I was typing this, hit enter, and then... damn you Shion!
