In place of Marshall Banana, I will be handing out Lucky Pumpkins this year beginning tonight at midnight until tomorrow at 11:59pm, PST. It's easy to play! The first person to claim the posted pumpkin gets what's inside! A person may claim only two pumpkins in total until the Grand Prize Pumpkin is revealed. You may claim the final pumpkin regardless of if you've already hit your limit of two.

Pumpkins will be posted at random and may be posted in this thread or others around the forum, so be sure to keep a sharp lookout. Remember that not every pumpkin contains a prize!

Many thanks to MB for these super cute designs. She intended to run this event but is feeling ill this weekend, so everyone please thank her for making this event possible and wish her well!

What kinds of prizes are they? And are you handing them out or embedding them in posts we have to find?

They are primarily forums-based prizes but there may or may not be a physical prize for the Grand Pumpkin winner.

Prizes will be handed out immediately in correlation to the pumpkin that has just been claimed. Only one pumpkin at a time will be posted until it is claimed, after which the pize will be issued, and the process repeated!

Eeeeee lucky pumpkins.

I originally wanted the :smug: but I felt like the :colbert: was more practical. Plenty of threads in EoEO as well as other places have topics where I know that icon would fit perfectly.

Side question: Looking at the Post Icons, would icons such as :cheers: or :beer: be too big to be post icons?

Believe it or not, I was worried about making a "wrong" decision. Not that there was one, of course.

I wanted to pick an icon that people would use a lot. I knew that :colbert: popped up a lot in threads about politics, "worst of" lists, and so on. But it's also used comically. So it's sort of the best of both worlds and I thought it would be enjoyed.

I'm a man of the people :cool:

At the end of the day it's all in good fun and there's one more post icon than there was yesterday :monster:
